The Sun Regulates Our Sleep Cycle

The sun plays has a considerable role in regulating our sleep cycle. In the morning, light enters our eyes and moves to the suprachiasmatic nuclei. These are what regulate our biological clock every day. Thus it is very beneficial to get regular hours of sleep because that allows you to have a well-regulated sleep cycle and wake up full of energy!

Note: High-luminosity lamps that are available in stores are used precisely to make up for the lack of light (you turn them on facing  you in the morning.) Several studies have shown their efficiency, especially during the winter months when there the days are shorter.
