Before Painting a Bridge

When a bridge needs a new coat of paint, the old one must first be removed. If it isn’t, the new layer of paint would be heavy enough to cause the bridge to fall! As an example, it takes 38,000 liters (10,036 gallons) of paint to do the the Jacques-Cartier Bridge that leads to Montreal. That’s 38 tons of paint!
