The five fingers on each hand allow us to grasp, push, touch, hold… in short, to act upon the world around us. We might think that our fingers have relatively strong muscles. But this is not the case. In fact, our fingers have no muscles at all. Instead, they are made up of tendons that are linked to the muscles in the hand. Thus, even if you spend hours playing video games, you won’t develop any muscles in your fingers!
